The PTN (Digital Technology Park located in Diamniadio) is a flagship project of the Senegal Emerging Plan (PSE) reflecting the vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Macky SALL, on the ambition to provide our country with a world class platform for the rise of the digital economy.

The aim of the PTN is to create, in the new town of Diamniadio Urban Pole, the first and largest regional platform to promote innovation and the development of digital services, creating jobs and wealth.

Located 35 km from Dakar, the site of the PTN covers a total area of 25 hectares for a project financed for 46.314 billion CFA francs (70.61 million euros), a loan obtained from the African Development Bank (AfDB) with a contribution from the State of Senegal in the order of 6.329 billion CFA francs (ie 9.65 million Euros). It is a world-class infrastructure that will make Senegal an attractive hub for investment in the ICT sector.

In this regard, the PTN will encourage multinationals, foreign and domestic companies to relocate their activities to the new urban center of Diamniadio. The ambition is to improve the share of the ICT sector in the national GDP from 7% to at least 10% by 2025.

The ambition to have such a platform dedicated to outsourced services from other countries is a clear option of the PSE, aimed at diversifying the sources of growth in the digital sector and at mitigating the effects of stagnation of the growth of conventional telecommunications services.

Our priesthood is to improve the quality of life of citizens as part of the digital diffusion in the sectors of activities such as education, health, agriculture, industry, trade etc.
